Terms & Conditions for Booking & Usage of Therapy Rooms

1. Hourly Bookings

1.1 These will be on an ad hoc basis and individuals may book up to five (5) sessions in advance.

1.2 Payment is to be made via the available payment modes at the clinic in advance, before or after using the training or therapy rooms.

1.3 All bookings are to be made by phone call (6962 9753), email (info@thrivepsychology.com.sg) or in-person at Thrive Psychology Clinic.

2. Usage

2.1 Thrive Psychology Clinic agrees to:

      2.1.1 Offer a clean, safe, confidential environment for the practitioner and client to work in. 

      2.1.2 Notify the practitioner of any correspondence to them sent to Thrive Psychology Clinic and to keep it safe and                confidential until it can be collected. 

      2.1.3 Give one month’s notice if rooms are no longer being used for rental purposes.

      2.1.4 Provide the practitioner at least 24-hours’ notice in the event that Thrive Psychology Clinic is required to cancel a          practitioner’s therapy room booking due to unforeseen circumstances. In such an event, where possible, Thrive                      Psychology Clinic may designate a suitable alternative room for the practitioner.

2.2 The Practitioner agrees to: 

       2.2.1 Respect all furniture and fittings and to leave the rooms in a clean and tidy condition, suitable for the next user.             No food is permitted in the rooms (drinks are permitted). 

      2.2.2 Inform Thrive Psychology Clinic if they need to cancel an ad hoc booking. At least 24-hours’ notice is needed,                otherwise, a full fee for the room booking will be incurred by the practitioner. We recommend that all practitioners                agree to similar terms with their clients. 

      2.2.3 Provide their own resources and carry out their own administration. 

      2.2.4 Be fully responsible for the health and safety of their clients/course participants. Thrive Psychology Clinic is not            responsible for damage to personal property. All bags and coats that are left in the clinic premises are at the                            practitioner’s and/or their client’s own risk. 

      2.2.5 Provide up to date professional indemnity insurance and evidence of professional body membership, qualifications          etc. 

     2.2.6 Indemnify Thrive Psychology Clinic from any liability, loss or damage arising from the practitioner’s activities. 

     2.2.7 Operate within the General Terms and Conditions of Room Rental (listed below). 

(Thrive Psychology Clinic does not offer a telephone answering service, email or administration service.) 

3. General

3.1 The Practitioner must maintain the appropriate certification, qualifications and up to date professional liability insurance. 

3.2 Level 1 to 3 TSPP Student/Trainee Practitioners with non-charging clients may apply via email to info@thrivepsychology.com.sg to request for complimentary usage of the Flourish Room, subject to availability with not more than three (3) business days of advanced notice. Trainee Practitioners will have to demonstrate, in the email, proof of the pro-bono service and such approval will be made at the discretion of Thrive Psychology Clinic.

Practitioner Levels 

Level 1: TSPP Student Practitioner (non-charging)

Level 2: TSPP Trainee Psychotherapist (non-charging)

Level 3: TSPP Trainee Psychotherapist (charging)

Level 4: Registered Professional Psychotherapist (charging)

        3.2.1 Non-charging/trainee practitioners are required to notify Thrive Psychology Clinic once they have started charging          or become a registered psychotherapist. 

       3.2.2 Applicable only to the booking of the complimentary room for TSPP students/trainee practitioners: Be charged in           accordance with the room rental rates for Student/Trainee Practitioners after a maximum of three (3) late                                cancellations

3.3 The Practitioner should maintain full control over your bookings and treatment of your clients, including client records and advertising materials. A referral fee of 50% (one-time) and a 4% fee for the usage of Thrive Psychology Clinic nets/credit card machine will be charged respectively. 

3.4 Funds for users of Thrive nets/credit card machine will be reimbursed in the following month via bank transfer. 

3.5 Ad hoc bookings must be taken on an hourly or two-hourly basis unless agreed otherwise. 

3.6 The Practitioner is responsible for bringing any equipment needed to the centre. Thrive Psychology Clinic will NOT be responsible for any missing items. 

3.7 The Practitioner is responsible for the therapy room and its content during the session. Any damage that occurs during this time must be brought to our attention and payment for any damages must be received within 14-days of billing.

3.8 The therapy rooms must only be used during the hours that have been agreed upon and booked. 

3.9 Please vacate the room as soon as your slot has ended. Other therapists may be using the room and therefore running over the allocated time slot is not permitted. 

        3.9.1 If the session overruns the agreed booking duration: 

        3.9.2 $5 will be imposed within the first ten (10) minutes

      3.9.3 One (1) extra hour booking rate in accordance with the non-peak/peak hour will be imposed if the session goes beyond the first ten (10) minutes. 

3.10 The therapy room must be left in a safe and tidy condition so that other therapists can use it immediately after you. If any incidents or accidents occur that require attention, please report it immediately. 

3.11 You do not have the authority to enter into contracts on behalf of Thrive Psychology Clinic. It is forbidden to sublet the therapy room or use it for any other purpose other than what has been agreed upon. 

3.12 Thrive Psychology Clinic reserves the right to amend these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice such that the amendment is in compliance with the applicable laws and regulations.
