Terms & Conditions for Booking & Usage of Therapy Rooms

1. General 

1.1 The practitioner shall maintain and provide the appropriate certification, qualifications and up-to-date professional                

liability insurance. 

1.1.1The practitioner shall promptly notify Thrive Psychology Clinic of any updates and changes to their certification and

qualification. 

1.2 All practitioners are to provide their (own) resources and manage their (own) administration. 

1.3 Printing or photocopying of any resources shall incur additional charges. 

1.4 Thrive Psychology Clinic is NOT liable for any injuries sustained. Practitioners shall hold full responsibility for the health    

and safety of their clients and course participants. 

1.5 Thrive Psychology Clinic is NOT liable for any lost or missing items practitioners bring for their sessions. 

1.6 Thrive Psychology Clinic is NOT liable for any damage or loss of personal property. 

1.7 Loss or damage to Thrive Psychology Clinic property resulting from the actions of a practitioner or their client(s) will

require compensation from the responsible party. 

1.8 Practitioners must operate following the General Terms and Conditions of Room Rental (stated below). 

1.9 Practitioners do not have the authority to enter into contracts with any third party on behalf Thrive Psychology Clinic           for purposes other than those previously agreed upon. 

1.10 All practitioners are to show respect and courtesy to our staffs.

2. Practitioner Levels

2.1 Non-charging 

      2.1.1 Non-charging practitioners are required to notify Thrive Psychology Clinic immediately upon charging for services or               becoming a registered psychotherapist. 

2.2 Charging 

      2.1.2 Once a practitioner starts charging a client, room rental charges will apply across ALL subsequent sessions.

3. Cancellation Policy 

​3.1 Practitioners must provide at least 24 hours advance notice for cancellations

3.2 Failure to do so shall result in the

3.2.1 Cancellations made by practitioners will result in the full rate for the room booking.

3.2.2 Cancellations made by clients will result in a flat $50 cancellation fee.

3.3 All payments are to be made within three (3) working days. Failure to do so will result in the practitioner being unable to

book additional sessions. 

3.4 To avoid any late cancellation penalties, practitioners/clients are required to provide:

3.4.1 A medical certificates, or

3.4.2 Any relevant supporting documentation

3.5 ALL practitioners are required to inform their clients and ensure knowledge of this policy.

3.6 Non-Charging practitioner

3.6.1 Non-Charging practitioners are entitled to three (3) waivers.

3.6.2 Once the waivers have been used, cancellation fees will apply accordingly.

3.7 Charging practitioner 

3.7.1 Any late cancellations will incur an immediate cancellation fee (booking rate).

4. Room Booking  

4.1 All bookings are to be made by phone call (6962 9753), text (9785 5301), email (info@thrivepsychology.com.sg) or in person at Thrive Psychology Clinic.

4.2 Room bookings are on a first-come, first-served basis

4.3 Thrive Psychology Clinic will not engage directly with practitioners’ clients (external) for room booking or other matters.

All arrangements must be made between the practitioners and their clients. Thrive Psychology Clinic will only assist with the room booking process.

4.4 Non-charging practitioners (trainees) are entitled to a complimentary room (Flourish).

4.5 Advance booking is limited to a maximum of 5 sessions.

4.6 Overrunning Policy

4.6.1 The therapy rooms are to be used only during the hours booked.

4.6.2 Overrunning fee:

4.6.2.1 A charge of $5 will be imposed for overrunning within the first ten (10) minutes.

4.6.2.2 If the session extends beyond the first ten (10) minutes, an additional fee equivalent to the room booking

    rate for one (1) extra hour will apply, based on whether it is a non-peak or peak hour.

4.6.2.3 Non-charging practitioners may utilise their waivers or pay the fee.

4.7 It is recommended that ad hoc bookings be made on an hourly or two-hourly basis. 

4.8 For charging practitioners, the full hourly room rental fee will apply for bookings of thirty (30) minutes.

5. Payment  

5.1 Room Rental

5.1.1 Payment for room rental shall be made, on the same day, via the available payment methods (Paywave, PayNow,

NETS, bank transfer) at the clinic, either before or after using the training or therapy rooms.

5.1.2 Room rental fees are still applicable, even if the client is not charged for that particular session.

5.2 Clients 

5.2.1 Practitioners shall inform our team in advance if payment is to be collected directly from the client.

If the client makes an online payment to Thrive Psychology Clinic (via bank transfer or PayNow), a payment confirmation must be sent to us within three (3) working days.

6. Room Usage  

6.1 The Practitioner is responsible for the therapy room and its contents during the session. Any damage incurred during this

time must be reported immediately, and payment for any damages must be made within fourteen (14) days of billing.

6.2 Practitioners are required to treat all furniture and fittings with consideration and ensure the room is clean and tidy,

ready for the next user.

6.3 Food and drinks are permitted; however, practitioners must ensure that the space remains clean and orderly.

6.4 Any incidents or accidents requiring attention must be reported immediately.

7. Reimbursement   

7.1 Funds will be reimbursed in the following month via bank transfer.

7.2 Practitioners will be provided with an acknowledgement form once payment has been made.

Thrive Psychology Clinic reserves the right to amend these Terms of Service at any time, without prior notice, provided such amendments comply with applicable laws and regulations. Practitioners are strongly encouraged to review the Terms and Conditions regularly.
