Nurul Elmira

Elmina, a placement practitioner at Thrive Psychology Clinic, is also a therapist-in-training from The School of Positive Psychology (TSPP).

Elmira is a Social Science graduate, majored in Psychology. Her interest in direct therapy work pushed her to pursue a Professional Diploma in Psychotherapy to further her domain knowledge on different therapy modalities and how to work with different types of clients. She is currently a trainee therapist who aims to continue developing her skillsets in order to enhance the mental wellbeing of clients she serve. She is passionate about working with individuals on their unique journeys towards leading a meaningful life. She believes that we are all bound to face instances where we require a safe and supportive space to share our challenges and vulnerabilities. Hence, she encourages one to take the first step to share and get a refill of some hope! Elmira is trained in modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Clinical Hypnotherapy. She is fluent in both English and Tamil.
