Jeslyn Lim is Thrive Pyschology Clinic's co-founder and Head Psychologist.
Jeslyn Lim founded Mind Culture in 2012. She is a certified practitioner of Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT) and a member of Association for IEMT Practitioner.
Jeslyn is the Immediate Past President of Association of Psychotherapy and Counsellors Singapore (APACS) as well as full member of Singapore Psychological Society (SPS). Alongside with Advanced Certification in Training and Assessment (ACTA), Jeslyn lectures in institutions and is currently providing psychological services in the National University Hospital (NUH) and Jurong Community Hospital for staff wellness. As a psychologist and a hypnotherapist, she took charge of clinical assessment and program, individual behavioural plan (IBP) development, clinical supervision and clinical meetings with parents.
With experience in behavioural and language intervention (trained in ABLLS™‐R, ABA & VB techniques/ physiology) and alongside with hypnotherapeutic work, she is National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH) Certified with an Advanced Certification In 5-PATH®, as well as a 7th PATH Self-Hypnosis Teacher. She has spent the last decade operating under an innovative mindset within the world of Psychology. With tremendous experience working as a practitioner and an educator, Jeslyn has found a true passion for working with disadvantaged and disenfranchised children, youth, and adults. Her areas of specialization, including psychological dysfunction, intellectual disability, and childhood mental health conditions and issues, has served as the cornerstone of Thrive Psychology Clinic.
She has also spent years in the private sectors in management level, ensuring employees’ well-being by performing conflict resolution, and providing counselling services. This further fortified her skills in dealing with clients regarding matters of safety, crisis, and restorative management. Jeslyn developed therapeutic interventions to promote motivation and heighten work morale as well as work ethics. Additionally, Jeslyn is experienced in the medical sector as a senior surgical operating assistant, dealing with patients and cases that included financial hardship, phobias, and socio-emotional needs.
