Cheryl is a psychotherapist at Thrive Psychology Clinic.

Here at Thrive Psychology, Cheryl is dedicated to providing compassionate and effective care that empowers children and adolescents to overcome challenges, find balance in their lives, as well as achieve emotional and mental well-being. With years of experience with children in the public sector under her belt, she aims to guide youths towards a more enriching and meaning life.

Having pursued Psychology at the National University of Singapore, has developed a comprehensive understanding of the complexities of the human mind and the various therapeutic approach that facilitate healing and growth.

Cheryl strongly believes that building compassionate and collaborative therapeutic relationships is the foundation for successful intervention, hence she strives to provide a warm and supportive environment for youths through active listening, emotional validation and insightful reflections.

Recognizing that every individual is unique, Cheryl employs an integrative and person-centric approach to therapist, drawing upon various evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and other Mindfulness-based Approaches, to tailor interventions to suit individual needs. She hopes to helps youths explore their goals, challenges and strengths, working with them collaboratively to develop positive and last change.
