"Everything you lose is a step you take"
Ying Qi is a clinical support staff at Thrive Psychology Clinic.
Ying Qi is currently an undergraduate at the National University of Singapore and is passionate about the growth and development of young individuals. Her hands-on experience in educational settings has allowed her to work closely with children, designing and leading activities that foster emotional resilience, build self-confidence, and encourage
active, engaged learning.
Beyond her work with children, Ying Qi has a longstanding interest in the field of psychology. Her active involvement in her university’s psychology society has provided opportunities to contribute meaningfully to the student community and connect with like-minded peers. These experiences have deepened her understanding of the complexities of human behavior and
reinforced her belief in the importance of early, empathetic support in promoting mental wellness.
With her background and keen interest, Ying Qi is eager to further develop her skills through an internship that offers practical experience in a professional setting. She is excited to be part of a team committed to supporting the unique mental health needs of young individuals, and to contribute meaningfully to their emotional and psychological well-being.
