"Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom."

Emi is a clinical support staff at Thrive Psychology Clinic.

With a deep fascination towards the workings of the human mind, Emi is currently pursuing a Bachelors of Social Sciences (Honours) in Psychology at the National University of Singapore and has actively pursued research opportunities in school and beyond.

Apart from her academic pursuits, Emi volunteers regularly within her community and is dedicated to drawing on her psychological knowledge to make a positive impact. From mentoring disadvantaged youths to conducting home visits for seniors, her warmth and empathy allows her to forge meaningful connections with diverse populations and support them in overcoming their individual challenges.

As an aspiring Clinical Psychologist, Emi is committed to furthering her theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field. Through clinical exposure at Thrive Psychology Clinic, she hopes to gain deeper insights into the cognitive, social and behavioural challenges youths face and support them in their development.
