"From what we cannot hold the stars are made"

Sandy is a clinical support staff at Thrive Psychology Clinic.

With her favourite pastimes of reading books and watching animations, Sandy’s interest in psychology sparked from the enjoyment of seeing the different perspectives of how tales can be told from for each have their own story to tell.

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with Honours in psychology and sociology at the National University of Singapore (NUS), Sandy hopes to understand the intersectionality between social groups, the mind and self. She believes in the power of listening to the stories of others. This belief undergirds her passion for inclusivity, where she has gone beyond to connect with people of various backgrounds, spurring her involvement in mentoring children and volunteering with mental health organisations.

With her time at Thrive, Sandy wishes to enhance her repertoire of skills and redefine her own story by colouring the lenses in which she views the world with empathy and kindness.
