Ashna is a clinical support staff at Thrive Psychology Clinic.
Ashna Sultan is a recent graduate from the University of Groningen, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Her passion for clinical psychology originates from a deep interest in how the adolescent experience influences the formation of identity and in exploring the underlying mechanisms of human behavior.
Through her past professional roles and her volunteer work, Ashna has cultivated a range of interpersonal and professional skills, including conflict resolution, effective collaboration, and the ability to foster inclusive and engaging learning environments. Ashna is particularly motivated to work with children and adolescents, with the aspiration of contributing meaningfully to society by engaging this population with empathy and a nuanced understanding of the significance of early developmental stages.
Ashna intends to pursue a Master’s degree in Clinical and Developmental Psychology, with the long-term goal of obtaining a doctorate and becoming a licensed clinical psychologist. She is enthusiastic about gaining hands-on experience in a professional environment that prioritizes mental health, personal growth, and therapeutic intervention.
